I did what every “responsible” small-town girl was told to do: go to college, land the job, and stay there until retirement. But let’s be real, I was never making it to retirement. I barely made it through orientation.
Even in college, I was secretly obsessed with building brands and designing websites. I'd spend late nights dreaming up business ideas while everyone else crammed for finals. Not long after graduation, I got bold and launched one of those ideas with just a PDF, a PayPal account, and a Google Voice number. That tiny offer? It brought in over $50,000 in less than two weeks.
